2026 Nutcracker Master Class (Ages 7+)
About this Class
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Limited to students ages 7+ at a beginning/intermediate level. Students should have previous dance experience. Cost is only $30 per student. *Class is limited to 25 students Join us for a unique one-hour masterclass where students will have the extraordinary opportunity to work with and train under international casting director. The Director will be casting the youth roles in the 2026 St. Louis production of Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet at the Fox Theatre. Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 12th. In this masterclass, students will receive invaluable training and insights directly from Maria, enhancing their technique and performance skills. While this class offers a fantastic preparation opportunity for those interested in auditioning, students are welcome to attend purely for the exceptional training experience. Participation in the audition for the Nutcracker is not required to take this masterclass. Don’t miss this chance to learn from a leading professional in the industry and elevate your dance journey! **Please note that tuition is non-refundable. No portion of any of the fees will be refunded under any circumstances. If classes are canceled by Bridgeman Academy due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, master classes will be rescheduled or a reimbursement will be issued if applicable.

Important Registration Info
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ. If Your Child Is Cast, You Must Commit To: Failure to meet these commitments and requirements may result in dismissal from the cast. By registering, you agree to these terms. Full Attendance • Only 6 total rehearsals (mostly Saturdays in Nov/Dec). • No regular absences permitted. • Only one illness absence allowed, and it requires a doctor’s note. • Missing more than one rehearsal may result in removal from the cast. Rehearsal Requirements • Proper dance attire and ballet shoes required at every rehearsal. • Respect all teachers, directors, and volunteers. • Get approval for base layer items (see below) at least 2 weeks before the show. Show Day Commitment • Arrive on time (typically 8 AM drop-off at stage door). • Follow all backstage and release procedures. • No parents backstage. Items Students Must Provide Base Layer (worn under costumes): • Performance leotard (shirt/tights for male dancers) • Performance tights • Ballet or Pointe shoes Performance Day Attire & Packed Bag • Base Layer (Performance leotard + tights) • Jacket/coat (no pullovers) • Sweatpants • Street shoes • Performance-ready hair & makeup (details based on role shared prior to show) What to Pack (in one portable bag): • Ballet/Pointe shoes • Water bottle • Non-messy snacks • Extra tights • Hairspray, bobby pins, hair nets • Books/activities (optional: pillow, blanket, charger)
