Bridgeman Academy offers unique summer programs to introduce performing arts disciplines as well as 3 weeks of intensive workshops to take your dance and theatre skills to the next level.
Creative Kids Camp
July 17 - 21, 2023
9:00 am - 2:30 pm
This performing arts camp for all ages (including a half-day option for ages 3-7) introduces students to a wide range of performing arts skills including dance, theatre, circus, and more! Classes are divided into groups based on experience and students will also participate in arts-related crafts, activities, and team-building games throughout the camp.
Pricing: $300 for full day / $200 for half-day
($50 discount for current students), before/after care is available for an additional cost

Summer Intensives
Week-long workshops to take your skills to the next level!

Dance Intensive
9:00 am - 11:30 am
The Bridgeman Academy dance intensive is a specially curated summer dance program that focuses on elevating students' technique in a short period of time through consistent, comprehensive training. This intensive is taught by in-home and guest faculty members and has options for one, two, and three weeks of classes. Classes include Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe, and Improv.
For ages 8+, prior dance experience is required (a placement class will be held on the first day of the intensive).

Theatre Intensive
12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
The Bridgeman Academy musical theatre intensive dives deeper into the proper techniques of singing, acting, and dancing. Theatre electives such as Shakespeare, Improv, Costume & Makeup Design, Stage Combat, and Music Theory will also be offered throughout the intensive. Students will study and perform material from many different famous musicals and plays throughout the week.
For ages 8+ grouped based on experience, no experience necessary.

Additional Discounts
Extra $25 off camp fee for each additional family member that registers. Save 10% on tuition by registering and paying in full before March 1.
What to Expect
All summer camps and intensives will take place between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:30 pm each day (half-day camps will run from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and will not include a lunch period). Intensives will consist of a variety of technique classes, lectures, and master classes from professionals in the field. Camps will consist of fun classes, alongside creative activities and games to engage students in an enjoyable learning environment.
What to Bring
Creative Kids Camp:

Students should wear clothes that are easy to move in and that correspond to the color theme each day! Themes will be sent out along with the weekly schedule at a later time.

A water bottle.

A packed lunch and snacks (does not apply to half-day camps).

A bag large enough to fit all clothes, shoes, accessories, and lunch items.
Intensives:

Students should wear attire appropriate for the techniques they will be studying that day. For all ballet technique classes, please bring pink tights and a leotard in the color of your choice. Dancers may also choose to wear dance shorts, skirts, or warm-up attire over their leotard and tights. For all other styles of dance, dancers may wear form-fitting dancewear in the color of their choice.

PLEASE NOTE: Dancers may put on/take off layering pieces throughout the day, but will not have the opportunity to entirely change outfits between classes.

All dance shoes required for the subjects being taken that day. Socks and/or bare feet are acceptable for theatre and circus classes.

A bag large enough to fit all clothes, shoes, accessories, and lunch items.

Hair should be pulled back neatly in a bun for ballet. For all other classes, hair should be pulled back away from the face.
*Please ensure that all items brought to the studio are labeled with a name on them.

Please review the details and complete the full form below including payment for the registration fees for all students attending Bridgeman Academy of Performing Arts this summer. Registration fee must be paid before classes are fully secured for the season.

Select your desired camps and intensives and we will send you an invoice including the relevant discounts for multiple weeks or multiple students. You'll receive an additional 10% discount on tuition if paid by March 1, otherwise final tuition payments are due by June 26.
