About this Class
Saturdays, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM This one-hour class introduces the foundational elements of classical ballet tailored for adult learners, focusing on posture, alignment, turnout, and graceful movement through gentle barre exercises (pliés, tendus, dégagés, rond de jambe) and introductory center work including simple port de bras, adagio balances, and basic allegro steps. Students build core strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness while learning musical phrasing and expressive quality at a comfortable pace. Emphasis is placed on safe progressions, breath integration, injury prevention, and fostering confidence and enjoyment—no prior experience necessary. Taught by experienced instructors in a positive, encouraging, and non-intimidating setting, this class offers a wonderful way for adults to improve posture, reduce stress, and discover the beauty of ballet as a lifelong activity. Annual Tuition (not including discounts): $715 academic year (or 11 months of $65/month) Tuition Discounts Receive an additional 10% discount for paying the full year tuition up front. The total for this course including the discount is $643.50. In-person payment is required to receive the 10% discount.

Important Registration Info
You will not be charged at the time of booking. An invoice for the total tuition (or first month's amount) will be sent and must be paid in full before attending any class, course, or workshop. This ensures all discounts (multi-student, early bird, sibling, etc.) are applied and all registration, waivers, and information are complete. Monthly tuition is automatically deducted from your account between the 1st and 7th of each month for the following month's classes. Changes to your payment method must be submitted by the 15th of the month (online or at the front desk). If a credit/debit card is declined, resolve the issue by the end of that week; otherwise, a $25 late fee will apply. Accounts not current by month-end may result in dancers being unable to attend class until payment is received. In-person payments (check or cash) are accepted on or before the 7th. If unable to pay during class hours or if the studio is closed: pay online via the emailed invoice or mail check to Bridgeman Academy of Performing Arts, 1120 Technology Drive, Suite 104, O'Fallon, MO 63368. Any account with an outstanding balance as of midnight on the 15th will be charged automatically on the 16th. All outstanding tuition balances must be paid in full to receive costumes, participate in recitals/performances, or purchase recital tickets. This policy is strictly enforced.
